André Fernandes is a Lisbon-based musician, primarily known for his work as a guitarist in jazz, while remaining equally active across other genres as a producer, performer, and recording artist. As a guitarist, André Fernandes explores sound through tone, color, and contrast.

He has appeared in more than 40 records to date and is happy that he accompanied people like Lee Konitz, Tomasz Stanko, Perico Sambeat, Mário Laginha, Bernardo Sassetti, Bernardo Moreira and many others. He is also happy to have been supported by people like Pete Rende, Jorge Rossy, Perico Sambeat, Matt Pavolka, Bill McHenry and many others.  

With his stoner jazz built on contrast where serene guitar textures meet distorted fusion, punk energy, and sax-led power in a bold exploration of sound as color, he will be introducing you to his fourth studio album Centauri Chroma.
