Are U Happy? celebrates the discographic debut from the Amsterdam-based indie-jazz-rock trio CHOCOS. Are U Happy? has rock influenced drums, elastic bass lines and harmonically rich saxophone creating a raw yet spacious sound world. The music balances freedom with pulse, enhanced by occasional synth textures, positioning the Portuguese-originated band within the emerging European indie-jazz scene.

An indie vibraphone. Full of synth surprises. When I drive, I can’t drink. When I dance, I might trip and fall. But when I swim and open my eyes, I see three cuttlefish staring at me, asking me if I am happy. That or something else. I couldn’t really understand because I was underwater.
