Are U Happy? celebrates the discographic debut from the Amsterdam-based indie-jazz-rock trio CHOCOS. Are U Happy? has rock influenced drums, elastic bass lines and harmonically rich saxophone creating a raw yet spacious sound world.  The music balances freedom with pulse, enhanced by occasional synth textures, positioning the Portuguese-originated band within the emerging European indie-jazz scene.

Are U Happy? doesn’t have to be answered now. It can unravel over time, as you lose yourself to sweat your heart out, to dance freely and shamelessly. The ink is spreading, there’s no time to waste. The minutes go by, and suddenly it’s almost time to fine dine. A feast in your mouth that guides you on an exciting path. Daring bass lines. Driving grooves. Catchy melodies. Edgy congas. An indie vibraphone. Full of synth surprises. When I drive, I can't drink. When I dance, I might trip and fall. But when I swim and open my eyes, I see three cuttlefish staring at me, asking me if I am happy. That or something else. I couldn’t really understand because I was underwater.
