Emiresmiaton is a new band by some of the most interesting young musicians in the Dutch jazz scene. The band aims for a kind of improvisation and creation that is guided by unusual parameters. Where melody, harmony and rhythm depend entirely on the moment and can be filled in at will, Emiresmiaton uses storylines, tension arcs and density as guides within their improvisations.
