Teller of Tales: The State of Us is the debut album by Yoràn Vroom and his collective Group of Friends. Inspired by the book Ségou by Maryse Condé, the album tells the story of generations and families, shaped by hisotry, migration and change. Yoràn Vroom blends experimental jazz and afro influences into an infectious groove where different musical styles come together.
